I think it's worth mentioning that any images you see featuring both the Paint and Photoshop mediums were drawn pretty much exclusively in Paint, with Photoshop only used for smoothing those pixelicious edges. And that's what makes a lot of these digital pieces so impressive. People look at Paint like some piece of crap program that doesn't do anything, but violence makes it happen. It's like my favorite Banquet TV dinner. The rib-shaped pork meal may only cost a dollar, but it's quite possibly my favorite meal. I view these images created in Paint in the same regard.

purely out of curiousity, what is the advantage of using Paint for the pixelicious part? is it just easier to use or something?

instead of going around making tiny dots to make the boarders look more like pointailism. much easier, less time consuming and less frusterating.
